Update: This Offer is now expired.
The Chase Ink Plus® Business Card is currently running a 70,000 points sign-up bonus after spending $5,000 within 3 months and this is currently scheduled to end on Sunday, October 19. The $95 annual fee is not waived. This is far better than the usual best publicly available internet offer that offers 50,000 points for the same spending requirement and a waived annual fee.
Among the two Chase Ink cards, there are two credit cards: Chase Ink Bold® and Chase Ink Plus®.These two cards are exactly the same except that Chase Ink Plus is a credit card while Chase Ink Bold is a charge card.
Transfer to Partners
These cards earn Chase Ultimate Rewards points, which are are a valuable, flexible currency. The points can be transferred 1:1 to 10 different airline and hotel partners including United Airlines, British Airways, Hyatt Gold Passport, etc. For those who are don’t want to deal with miles or find good value purchasing tickets, you can redeem each point at 1 cent cash back (10,000 points = $100) or 1.25 cents toward airline tickets (10,000 points = $125).
They transfer 1:1 to 10+ different airline and hotel partners and my favorite partners are United Airline, Hyatt Gold Passport and British Airways. The 70,000 points is a great deal and enough for:
- A round-trip flight to Europe (costs 60,000 miles + taxes) when transferred to United
- Almost 3 nights at the Park Hyatt Vienna (costs 25,000 points a night) when transferred to Hyatt Gold Passport
- 3 trips from New York to Cancun by redeeming British Airways miles on American Airlines flights.
As an added bonus, Ultimate Rewards points earned with the non-premium versions of the Chase cards such as Chase Freedom or Chase Ink Cash can be combined with points in the premium cards: Chase Ink Bold, Chase Ink Plus, Chase Sapphire Preferred. Then all the points become transferable to airline and hotel partners.
Extra Bonuses: 5 Points per Dollar and Ultimate Rewards Mall
The cards also give access to the Ultimate Rewards Mall, a shopping portal to earn extra points when shopping online at merchants like Macy’s, Staples, Sephora, drugstore.com, etc.
Lastly, one of the Ink Cards’ most attractive feature is to be able to earn 5 points per dollar on the first $50,000 spent annually at office supply stores, and on cellular phone, landline, internet, and cable TV services.
