The next Frequent Traveler University Event has just been announced and tickets are on sale this morning. I will be speaking there (details on my specific topic will follow) and I am definitely looking forward to another one of these gatherings. Here are the details:
- When: December 5-7 (events start Friday evening)
- Where: Hyatt Regency Crystal City in Arlington, Virginia.
The Frequent Traveler University events have been going on for a while and I’ve been to a few of these events. I visited FTU DC in April 2013 and spoke at FTU Tampa last September. One common comment from attendees is that, although they do have a nice time and meet lots of people, they can see it’s hard to meet the needs of both audiences at once: Those that are just getting into miles and those that already know quite a bit.
This started the more intimate FTU Advanced events, the first of which was in Chicago this past July and this one only had about 100 attendees. I spoke there and really enjoyed it as well. For those that have already had a bit of experience using miles and want to learn more to take your miles to the next level, it’s definitely something I recommend. In the end, we all came away having learned a lot from each other.
The event in December is going to have both of these going on at the same time: The regular FTU event and the FTU Advanced event.
